Last Saturday, we went to McKinney with Gaga. It was such a nice day and Ellie was thrilled that we had lunch in a very busy restaurant. In the middle of lunch, Ellie proved that I'm not neurotic (or at least not unnecessarily neurotic) for using a table cover:
As I mentioned in my last post, Ellie has started testing the toddler waters and definitely makes it known when she's not happy. At some point, Daddy took something away from Ellie and Ellie immediately did her best impression of a 2 year old. Daddy immediately gave the coveted item back to Ellie and this is the expression that he saw from me:
He also captured the facial expression that Ellie gives him when she wants something. Pretty hard to resist, I guess. ;-)
We FINALLY got some pictures with Gaga -- we're always horrible about getting pictures of her and Ellie together, so I'm so glad that these turned out so well!

We're missing Gaga so much! Damian and I have totally forgotten how to clean up after ourselves and Ellie is missing her playmate. Thank goodness we get to see her and Papa next week in Cozumel!

Well, I've finally gotten rid of most of the withdrawal symptoms - no more shakes, no more uncontrolled moaning. So tough not to wake up to Ellie talking and laughing and playing in her crib. We'll be happy to see Ellie's first experience with the ocean.
