Well, we're definitely not out of the woods yet. Although Charlie hasn't shown any signs of having whatever Ellie has, he has been extra needy lately. Last night, he only slept in 15-20 minute increments. Damian took him downstairs first thing this morning and they both slept soundly on the couch...adorable, but not in the middle of the night.
Miss Ellie, on the other hand, slept for 16 hours and only got up when I woke her up (something I NEVER thought I would do, but Damian and I were going crazy worrying about her). Her cough is
horrible. She doesn't have a fever anymore, but she clearly feels rotten. She hasn't eaten much since Monday (which explains why we were letting her eat whatever she wanted while sitting in front of the TV) and just isn't herself. Poor thing!

Oh man, one kid sleeps and the other only does 20 minute increments?!? I'm starting to worry about this two kid thing! I'm glad Ellie is improving but hope she makes a full recovery and that you get some sleep SOON!
Poor Hirst family!!! I was hoping things were on the upswing by now! Alex is happy to see that Ellie is learning the joys of a "movie picnic" though.
Sometimes there's nothing better than vegging in front of the TV or computer or newspaper. Whatever the vice, we all need to do it sometimes. We know that we're joining lots of others in wishing you all good health REALLY REALLY soon. We love you!
so sorry to hear she is so sick! I will pray for a very very speedy recovery!!!
