Poor Miss Ellie is really sick. She started running a fever last night during dinner and it's just gone downhill from there. She was up most of the night and after her foolish mother gave her a big cup of milk at about 1:30 a.m., she threw up in her crib. As I was cleaning her up, she just kept saying "oh no! oh no!" Poor thing. Her flu test came back negative, but the test only picks up 40-50% of the cases, so the doc said it's quite possible that she still has the flu.
To give you an idea of just how puny she is, these picks were taken while the Motrin was in full effect, her fever was down (although not gone), and she was feeling pretty good.

Poor little Ellie! I wish there was something we could do:( She looks so sad compared to her normal super happy high activity self.
Poor thing!!! Give her some cuddles for me. Sending lots and lots of get-well vibes!
Poor baby! (and Ellie too!)
Seriously, she does show how bad she must be feeling, and we all know how bad her mama is feeling not being able to make it all better. Hope Ellie bounces back soon and the rest of you don't get to share her symptoms.
I am so sorry! Hang in there - and keep Charlie healthy!!!
There is not much worse than a sick kiddo. I know, though, she's feeling better now and will soon be flying around getting caught up on what she has missed. Kids' quick recoveries are amazing. Give yourselves a group hug!
