Today, my MOMS group got together for a Thanksgiving lunch. Hillary made a fantastic turkey and we all brought side dishes -- yum! There were tons of kids there and Ellie loved running around with them. She spent a lot of the time playing with two boys -- Dylan, who is 2, and Jake, who is 3.5. She and Jake became quite fond of each other. They followed each other around, eventually snuggling up on the couch and tickling each other. Then, when Jake's mom told him it was time to go, he started kissing and hugging Ellie. It was so cute seeing him kiss Ellie's hand. As he was walking out, he said "I'll see you again, Ellie." And then when he was standing near the car, he told his mom "If Ellie comes out here, I'm going to kiss her again." SO cute!
Luckily, Jackson didn't seem threatened by the new man in Ellie's life -- I think he knows that she's young and needs to explore her options before settling down with him.

Jackson is very patient and will wait for Ellie:) Jake was so cute in his adoration of her though and who can blame him?
