Ellie just loves Jay and gets SO excited when he comes to play with her. For weeks after his last visit, she would go running into the front yard calling "Jay? Jay?" and try to convince me that he was coming -- we just had to wait.
We've also been swapping date nights with Jessica (Cain's sweet mom). And Ellie absolutely adores her too! In fact, the last two times that Jess has watched her, she has woken up the next morning and cried (literally!) when she discovered that Jess was gone and she was stuck with us. Even a little bribery with her favorite morning milk wouldn't stop the "I want Cain's mommy!" cries. So the good news is that the date nights are great for our marriage...the bad news is that they're terrible for my self-confidence. ;-)
We're so lucky to have such great friends -- thank you guys!

Right back at ya!! It is so very nice being able to go out knowing that Cain is in such great hands with ''Ay-deen'' THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!! ;-)
That is fantastic that you can go out and enjoy the evening knowing the kids are in such great hands. It shouldn't damage your ego that Ellie loves having babysitters - it's a sign that she is happy and secure!
Aw, I'm so glad you've been able to enjoy some time together:) And I know Jay and Jess have enjoyed Ellie as well!
PS-Great anniversary shot! Good looking couple:)
Ditto to what Mom said... Ellie's attachment to other people is a GREAT thing! And going out is definitely good for all of you!
