Snow day

This has been the craziest week ever! It's been below freezing since Monday night, when a big ice storm came through, leaving a couple inches of ice on the roads (at the deepest point on our back porch, there are probably 3 or 4 inches of solid ice). Then last night we got almost 5 inches of snow...on top of the ice that hasn't even started melting! Just as cabin fever was setting in, Fun Daddy saved the day and took Ellie sledding in the front yard. Despite rosy red cheeks, ice-packed gloves, and wet pants, Ellie had a great time and said she didn't want to come inside...even with the promise of her first ever hot chocolate!
