At the tender age of 23 months, Charlie has moved into his own room. Sniff, sniff. I love his new room (I'll post better pictures soon) and I know, with my head, that he's more than old enough to be in his own room, but I will miss having him in the nursery. It's the first big step in dethroning him as the baby of the family and if the Grand Finale wasn't on his/her way, I would be quite happy to have Charlie in the nursery indefinitely. I guess that means that the GF will probably be waking up on his/her sixteenth birthday in the nursery.

Yay, Charlie! Way to go, buddy. You have to sever those apron strings or she will just continue to get more and more dependent on you. And she'll be alright. She'll always be your Mom and love you and that's a wonderful thing... but you really should have your own room when you go away to college so it's just a matter of time. Right? ;-)
Awww! He'll always be your baby and I'm sure that he is ready for his own room. Better to do it now and let him have a little while to get used to it before Grand Finale arrives!!!
LOVE the stripes! Totally understand not being ready for your "baby" to not be the baby anymore.
Charlie's room is so cute!!! And even though he won't be the baby of the family forever, he'll always be your little man:)
Another perfect room! The only thing I worry about is if Charlie's crocks will go with the decor.
