These pictures just can’t do it justice, but here’s Charlie’s new room:
I wanted to do something that would grow with Charlie (sure, it’s partly because I’m lazy and didn’t want to have to repaint it in a few years, but it’s also because Charlie still seems like such a baby to me and only recently started showing strong preferences for toys, shows, etc.) . I had a striped canvas bag that I just loved and my super-talented friend, Landy, managed to recreate the look on one of Charlie’s walls. Landy has two small kiddos (a two year old and a 6-month old) and yet she still spent nearly every day for almost two weeks over here taping and painting this wall. What an amazing blessing for our family! And I just love the end result – it’s such a cool room for a cool little boy!

Gigi LOVED seeing the kiddos' rooms. They are works of art. Charlie and Ellie are so lucky.
