Charlie's 2 month stats

Charlie had his 2 month check-up on Tuesday and he is (was) perfectly healthy! He weighed 11 lbs, 9 oz. (40th percentile), is 23.5 inches long (62nd percentile), and his head is in the 59th percentile. We were sort of shocked that he was so little after getting used to having a baby who is consistently off the charts, but I guess Charlie is just taking a little longer to start packing on the pounds. The doctor thought it might be related to his reflux, or it could just be his normal growth pattern -- we'll see what he does in the coming months.

At two months, Miss Ellie weighed 12 lbs, 3 oz. (85th percentile) and was 24 inches long (95th percentile).

Charlie sure looks perfect. And we think that he's just being considerate and not wanting to have his mama carrying over 1/2 her body weight transporting 2 kids up the stairs.

He's perfect... she's perfect... they all just have their own curve to follow! The important part is that he is healthy, and loved, and adorable, and (I'm sure) smart, and fun, and and and... :)

He's perfect just the way he is. . .and he's totally adorable by the way:)

and really, there is VERY LITTLE difference between the percentile ratings, ya know? A half inch in length? Heck, a bad hair day could account for that!!

well, maybe not in Charlie's case...

;-)

he's just like his sister. PERFECT!

Out of curiousity, I looked up Alex's 2-month stats... she was 11lbs 8oz and 24". So she and Charlie were about the same for the 2 month check, but now it will just be a matter of whether Charlie follows in his sister's footsteps or his cousin's... for ease of eating and mind, I'm hoping he follows Ellie's lead! :)
