Charlie started going to mother’s day out in early January. He’s actually only been once because the week after he started, a horrible stomach bug went through the school (claiming the sweet Adams boys as its victims), so I kept him home for a couple of weeks, then we went to Colorado, and then the school was closed last week due to the ice and snow. Hopefully, he can start again this week! He seems so young to be going to school, but he’s just a couple of months younger than Ellie was when she started. And I’m so glad that he has the same sweet, sweet teacher that Ellie started with last year – Mrs. Wofford. She’s just perfect for the babies – so sweet and nurturing.
The kiddos on their first days:
Charlie tried to be patient, but the combination of having to wear a coat (one of his least favorite things) and hold a heavy backpack was just too much:

Charlie looks so cute with that backpack! He's just so adorable and Mrs. Wafford is lucky to have such a precious little man in her class:)
So sweet!!! And I can't get over how much Ellie has changed since she started school... I know it has been 18 months-ish, but still, what a change!!
I love it that you take first day of school pictures by the tree in your front yard - the tradition continues! How big the kids look!
Yes, Charlie and his very favorite coat! Guess we can figure out why he is missing from the sledding pictures, eh? He's a Texas boy, through and through - thinks water freezes at 50 degrees, right? :-)
