No more gummy grins
Keanan cut two teeth this week. I'm so glad that he's gotten a little relief from the teething pain, but I'm (inexplicably, unreasonably) sad that my baby boy has teeth. I am 150% sure that our little family is complete and there will be NO MORE Hirst babies, but boy am I going to miss those big, gummy smiles. Seeing his chubby little face light up and the smile spread from ear-to-ear makes me feel like the most important person in the world. I know that soon enough, he'll have eyes only for Daddy, just like my first mama's boy, but during the gummy smile era, I'm it as far as Keanan is concerned...and I'm soaking up every minute of it!

From a grandparents' perspective, these grandbabies have truly arrived and thrived in a blink of an eye. We love them all to pieces and love watching our kids be the committed, loving parents you all are!
