Mamma Mia (and Daddy, too) go to the cinema
Last night, for only the second time since Ellie was born, Damian and I went on a date! Auntie Sarah and Grandma Sue babysat while we went to see Mamma Mia. The movie was fantastic (other than the very uncomfortable scenes in which Pierce Brosnan sings) and it great to know that Ellie was in such good hands back at home -- thank you Sarah and Sue!

I'm so glad you guys got to go out!!! How fun! When you come back you'll have to let us keep her for more dates for sure.
Awesome! I'm so glad that you got out. Doesn't it make you feel like a "real" adult again? I hope you find ways to keep it up... it's something we aren't too good about around here. But we have a date night coming up on Wednesday... yippee!!!
