This morning, Ellie watched some highlights from the Olympics. I think she's really getting into the cultural aspect of the games.
Damian, Ellie and I went for a great walk today. We started out by walking along some ponds:
And then walked down a nice little road:
Ellie's hat kept falling down over her eyes, so we had to improvise:
After the walk, we went to Nana's for Sunday lunch. In honor of the Olympics, she cooked lunch (same number of dishes as last week) for five adults and two kiddos without an oven! Lesley's oven caught on fire and started shooting out sparks, so she cooked everything in the microwave...and it still tasted delicious! Next week, I think she's going to do it blindfolded and with one arm tied behind her back.

A date night - what a glorious thing for both you and Grandma Sue. I think Ellie needs a British Olympic uniform - don't you?
Funny, Ed was getting in the spirit of the Olympics last night too. But when he tried bowing, after several beers, he, just like Ellie, fell over! So, I decided to leave him there overnight. This morning he had just a few permanent creases on his face from his face plant.
That is hysterical!!! And Ellie looks so old sitting at the table with you. She needs to not grow anymore until you guys get back. . .Jackson might not recognize his girlfriend. Although he did kiss her picture today!
That is great! I can't believe what a smart little girl you have there. Alex thinks it was hilarious too! :)
