Family fun in the park

Today, we had so much fun at the park! And we learned two things about Ellie. First, she's a thrill-seeker. She loved being pushed really high in the swing. And second, she is totally capable of expressing her opinion about things now! We had our first experience of dragging a crying kiddo out of the swing, obviously against her will.

Although it looks like her hair is blowing in the wind, it's actually always like that right now -- her hair is getting long enough to stick straight out and not long enough to lay down.

I LOVE these pictures of Ellie and Daddy -- I took mental snapshots several times today so I can always have these images with me!

We tried to get her to branch out to other playground apparatus, and she humored us for a few minutes, but she was pretty anxious to get back to the swings.

After we finally got her out of the swing:
