Uhm, I don't think she likes it

On the way home from the airport, we went to lunch at a Mexican restaurant. Ellie was sitting on my lap, stealing chips from my hand when she reached out and dipped her chip in the salsa. Before I could stop her, she put it in her mouth. I thought it would be too hot for her, but she seemed to like it. Figuring that we would let her enjoy another hour of vacation, we let her dip a couple more chips, then she dipped her entire hand and a chip in the salsa and put it all in her mouth. Everything was okay for about 5 seconds and then Ellie made a horrible face, retrieved the chip from her mouth, threw it across the table, issued the most enthusiastic "uck! uck!" ever (she tensed every muscle in her body), and reenacted the scene from Big where Tom Hanks wipes his tongue off after eating caviar (I think). Damian and I, being the sympathetic parents that we are, laughed so hard that we both had tears running down our faces! If we had caught it on tape, I really think we could have won the $100,000 grand prize on AFV!
